What's the difference between a mono tone, a poly tone, and a Real Tone?
A mono (monophonic) tone is composed of simple tones played one at a time. Think of these as relics from the Stone Age of ringtones.
A poly (polyphonic) tone is a big step up from a mono tone. Poly tones ("polys") can emulate musical instrument sounds and play up to 40 notes simultaneously, creating a much richer facsimile of a piece of music.
A Real Tone, also known as a Master Tone or True Tone, is the latest evolution of the ringtone. A Real Tone is a snippet of an actual song, usually 15 seconds long. Real Tones are by far the most popular kind of ringtone, often outselling a single of the original song.

1.
Will my downloads expire?
No. One of the benefits of buying content at Mobbox is everything you download is yours to keep forever. Some carriers who sell their own content put "expiration dates" on items like ringtones and wallpaper, and after a set number of weeks or months it's automatically deleted from your phone.
In the event you delete something you downloaded from Mobbox from your phone, go to the locker on your My Mobbox page and download it again at no cost.
2.
Is there a charge to download from Mobbox?
Mobbox charges only for the price of its products. Although, your carrier may charge you for receiving text messages and data transfers. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your plan.
3.
The download worked, but I can't find it on my phone.
Your phone may not have enough memory to save a download. Deleting unused content, like a ringtone or game, will free up memory.
Also, on some phones you have to confirm saving a download in order to keep it. If you're unsure how your phone works in this regard, contact your carrier for technical support.
Finally, check all possible areas where your phone might save downloads. Such locations vary according to carrier and phone model. If you're unsure how your phone works in this regard, contact your carrier for technical support.
4.

When you find something you want to download, click the Get It button. (If you're not logged in you'll be prompted to enter your login info (either your phone number or e-mail address) and password. Then, click the Get It Now! button and we'll text your phone with a download link.
5.
How do I download something using my phone?
Open the Internet browser on your phone and enter go.mobox.com. There you'll find the same selection as our Web site, including ringtone and wallpaper previews. Use the text-based navigation to browse, then download when you find something you like.
6.
I didn't get a text message with the download link.
First, make sure your phone has wireless Internet and text messaging enabled. A phone receives a text message like a voice call, but products like ringtones and wallpaper are transmitted via wireless Internet. The two most likely possibilities you didn't receive a text message from us containing the download link are:
Your carrier is experiencing temporary network congestion, which will make receiving a text message take longer than you're accustomed.
You may have entered your phone number incorrectly on the product page.
In any case, wait one hour before ordering again.
